CMPU-ESD-10000 Series - ESD (electrostatic discharge) chair or an anti-static chair is designed to prevent static electricity buildup and discharge from occurring between a person and the chair.  Providing a safe and static-free environment for those working with sensitive electronic equipment, reducing the risk of damage or malfunction caused by static electricity.

When a person sits on a regular chair, they can build up static electricity due to friction between their clothing and the chair's material. This static electricity can be discharged when the person touches sensitive electronic equipment, potentially causing damage or malfunctions.

CHAIR MASTER CMPU-ESD Series chairs are made from Industrial Grade Polyurethane that has conductive and static-dissipative properties which help to ground any static electricity that builds up on the chair, preventing it from building up on a person sitting on the chair. This helps to protect both the person sitting on the chair and any electronic equipment they may come in contact with.

The industrial grade injection molded Polyurethane seat and back are extremely durable and easy to clean with all household cleaning products, wipes and solutions.  They will not fade or peel and will withstand the wear and tear of heavy duty use.

All our Polyurethane chairs meet and exceed ANSI/BIFMA standards. Clean-room class 10,000. All of our chairs have been tested to exceed ANSI/BIFMA standards for 450 pound seating capacity. Please Note: Caution for use by individuals over 350 pounds should note that the seat may compress an additional 1"-2". Warning if casters are used, the chairs can roll away when being boarded, causing harm to the individual.
